WHY DONATE?
The values and objectives of G.O.L.D.E.N. Charitable Foundation are embodied in its acronym: Giving Opportunities for Leadership, Development, and Education to support global Neighborhoods.
EDUCATION
We will partner with educational programs that can improve the quality of life for women, and their families in underserved communities. These programs may directly support schools that provide school supplies to students. Other programs are designed to create individual learning opportunities.
OPPORTUNITIES
We intend to support the Healthy Choices, Healthy Living, and Healthy Generations (H3 initiative) of Project Reassurance which seeks to comprehensively address the factors that lead to teen pregnancy – low self-esteem, diet and economic issues – while also providing support and guidance when it does occur.
LEADERSHIP
We will provide training and leadership development, best practices, and mentoring programs for women, young ladies, and girls to promote the development of their capacity as leaders within their respective communities and within their chosen vocation.
A Heartwarming Success Story
The story of R. G. LeTourneau. As he succeeded, he increased his giving to the point where he was giving 90% of his income to the Lord’s work.
R. G. LeTourneau says, “I shovel out the money, and God shovels it back—but God has a bigger shovel”. You may be thinking, “I could give 90% too if I was a multi-millionaire.” Maybe so, but LeTourneau didn’t start out wealthy.
